Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from UGC-recognized universities/institutions.
- Age Limit: For JRF: Not more than 30 years as of 1st June 2025. Age relaxation applicable as per government norms. No upper age limit for Assistant Professor.
Exam Pattern
The UGC NET June 2025 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, comprising two papers:
- Paper I: Teaching and Research Aptitude (common for all candidates)
- Paper II: Subject-specific paper based on the candidate’s chosen subject
Both papers will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will be conducted without any break between them.

- Click on the “UGC NET June 2025 Online Application” link.
- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill in the application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload the required documents, including a scanned photograph and signature.
- Pay the applicable examination fee via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Download and retain a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
